Winter is saying goodbye soon, and spring is saying hello with its warmest smile. When it comes to spring, I believe each one of us will have a Spring Day anthem stuck in our heads. We all agree that it is not spring without the Queen on our playlists during this season. But there is more that we can talk about during this season; here are some recommendations of songs, Run BTS! episodes, a book that has been read by the members, what spring is like in South Korea, and last but not least information about Children’s Day in South Korea.

Spring Day is a perfect song for us to feel gloomy because of winter, yet hopeful that spring could bring us a better time. Some might say it is also a tribute song for the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy, but what makes it a surprise is that RM said he wrote the song because he saw the leaves falling while he was at the park. The theory behind its music videos also vary, but one thing for sure is that this Queen is still on the Melon Music Chart and has never left since its debut.

Heartbeat is definitely a gem for ARMYs and everyone that plays BTS World. It is not BTS if they do not create a beautiful song with beautiful meanings behind it. The song tries to say that after all that hard work, sweat, and tears in the past, when they have members and ARMYs, they believe that they can get through anything together. They know they are strong enough yet comforting for each other.

Then, we have Make It Right which has several remixes on Spotify. This masterpiece from the album Map of The Soul: Persona. Another love letter from BTS for ARMY is this magnificent song. The collaboration between BTS and Ed Sheeran for writing, and also Lauv for one of the remixes, brought us beautiful results. The song tells us that we will always have each other no matter what; we will always find BTS to make things right and vice versa. We will never be alone in every step we make because in the end, we will always find a light to our home.

For the last to cover, we need something to cheer us up, so a song that will go on the list is Not Today. If you think that you can feel sorrow and sadness in winter, you have to wake up and burn your spirit in spring, and tell the world that today is not the day for you to feel bad about yourself anymore. Today is not a day for you to give up. This spring is a brand new chance for you to prove that you are way better than you were in winter.

Spring is synonymous with flowers, so you might want to see the boys arranging flowers with a handsome florist in Run BTS! episode 99. The guest star, Kim Isaac, taught the boys how to arrange beautiful flowers, becoming a bucket, a head crown, and much more. The members are also showered with compliments from the tutor to boost their confidence. You surely have to pay attention so you won’t be mixed up between the beautiful flowers and our handsome BTS members.

The members are known for their love of books. They sometimes share with us their current reading or even just show it during the moment like in In The Soop. Almond is a book that they read during the show; we caught hyung line reading it in their free time. We also wrote down our thoughts about it here and you can find other books here. Almond shows that we are all human and have that caring and loving nature in ourselves, and we can choose to show or not consciously.

Endless beautiful flowers blossom in South Korea during this season. You will see the streets adorned with pink trees, because the cherry blossoms are everywhere. You can find several festivals like Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival, Jirisan Mountain Royal Azalea Festival, or Taean Tulip Festival. Despite the fact that spring in South Korea consists of mild to warm temperatures you still need to pack some warmer clothing if you want to visit here. You can click here to find out more about spring in this beautiful country.

May 5th is marked as Children’s Day in South Korea because they value and believe that the children are the future leaders of the country. Places like the zoo, museum, amusement park, or any other similar places will be full of people. RM and j-hope did not miss their chance to celebrate it last year. j-hope posted his childhood picture and also his picture from 2018 with the same pose while RM showed us his brand new haircut.

Spring is a perfect time to reunite with your family to share a warm hug and smile to get through the day. So what would you like to do in spring this year? Let us know!
