In a 2018 episode of “Run BTS!” Jung Kook shared in a poem titled “황금” (Gold), that his mother had a dream while pregnant with him, where golden rain fell and turned everything it touched to gold. This dream was later interpreted as a sign of the extraordinary future that Jung Kook would experience, reinforcing the idea that his golden time was destined from the very beginning. Since his mother’s conception dream, there have been other references to gold in relation to Jung Kook so the fact that he named his newly released, solo debut album “Golden” also seems destined.

While Jung Kook’s musical career began with Hip-Hop/K-pop, he has transcended those boundaries and has now firmly established himself as a pop idol on the global stage.
