Annyeong, yeorobun! How has your day been recently? Getting closer to our lovely Kookie’s birthday on September 1st, 2022!
Knowing all members will take their path this time, it absolutely makes ARMY a bit sad and gives us a lot to think about. But once BTS, always BTS, no matter what – including Jung Kook. The maknae gave us a wonderful surprise by doing a duet with Charlie Puth for their song “Left and Right.” It went viral on Tik Tok and nailed it on Youtube and everywhere else, as well.
Enough with Jung Kook’s activities; before running through the topic of his upcoming birthday, let’s have a throwback to some of Jung Kook’s birthday projects, shall we?
Pyrotechnic Fire and Light Fireworks with 200+ Drones, Korea (2021)
In 2021, Jung Kook received lots of love from all ARMY around the world, including ARMY from Korea. At Hangang Park, everyone could see fireworks and drones everywhere, then they realized that they were executed not only for celebrating Kookooro day – which was postponed due to the weather condition earlier on, but also celebrating JK day. There were many live streams and videos of birthday projects uploaded to YouTube, and many people visited the place directly to see the beautiful fireworks and drones with the words of saying “Happy Birthday” to Jung Kook.
7 meters high 'Floating Garden' Mock-up Stage of "Still With You" (2021)
We were all pleasantly surprised by this Mock-up stage given as Jung Kook’s birthday gift, because it came from Jung Kook fanbase in China. It was located at I'Park Mall near the HYBE building, Seoul, South Korea. Jungkook is the First Artist to get a Floating Garden-inspired stage mock-up event for his solo song "Still With You." Even better, the stage was EXACTLY 7 meters (around 23 feet) high. Pretty cool huh?
Korea's Haeundae Beach Blue Line Trains (2021)
We bet that you all know Jung Kook’s hometown. Yes! Busan! A place where we can find many wonderful sights and a beautiful beach! Speaking of beaches, there is one of the most famous beaches in Busan that many people visit: Haeundae Beach. But we are not talking about that one; instead, we are talking about World's 1st Blue Line All-Inclusive Support and Korea's 1st Haeundae Beach Trains Promo Event for Jungkook's birthday. What does it mean? The trains for the entire beach ran from September 1st to 7th at “Blue Line Park.” They had different ads and designs around the trains themed around our golden boy.

Rolling Stone collaboration: JK-DAY!
Surprising gifts keep coming and this one is really awesome! The US magazine, Rolling Stone, will launch a special congratulatory advertisement for Jung Kook’s upcoming birthday. This big event also collaborated with Jung Kook fan bases from China which is also the first collaboration between Rolling Stone with fan bases. As Jungkook China teases, the BTS maknae will have a full-page, full-color ad in the September 2022 issue of Rolling Stone. As part of the collaboration, the publication will arrive on the 1st of that month, the same day that the famous Korean will receive his 25th birthday (international age).
Special Gift from the Philippines!
For his upcoming birthday, Jung Kook’s fan bases from the Philippines have prepared a special gift for Jung Kook! They will make a big celebration project in one of the largest parks in the Philippines, Luneta Park, which is full of rich history and one of the largest parks in the Philippines. Fans will be able to enjoy watching the Luneta Dancing Fountain playing the self-produced and composed viral hit “Still with You” which will be held on the 1st September 2022, at 7 PM at Luneta Dancing Fountain, Manila, Philippines.
Jung Kook Ocean Care!
Last but not least, another Jung Kook’s birthday project that relates to environmental issues is coming from Indonesian ARMYs. In collaboration with the government from Kendari City and Kitabjsa.com, their project aims to raise money to support a trash boom that catches plastic waste matters before they run into the ocean.
