Borasaek Vision’s Premier Issue Drops Jan. 24
Finally, after months of preparation, we are pleased to say that our first issue is officially coming. In fact, at the time of this publication, we are roughly T-minus 24 hours until we launch this first issue into the BTS galaxy.
It has been a long journey. Not always a comfortable one - it would be a lie to say that everything went smoothly one hundred percent of the time. There were snags. There were roadblocks. Ultimately, however, we’ve made it to the countdown to launch and are ready to press the button to initiate the final sequence.
I’ve used quite a few space metaphors at this point (I definitely didn’t just have a Star Wars marathon influencing my choices), but it’s accurate in a certain sense. We’ve been preparing for so long - doing research, writing articles, gathering photos, designing graphics, and promoting our work - that to finally be standing here staring at the big, red button that says “publish” in big, official-looking letters...it’s a little terrifying.
Terrifying - but exciting. There’s something undeniably special about looking at this metaphorical launch button, knowing that we’re about to put our hard work out into the universe for everyone to see.
It’s not the first time you’ve seen us - we’ve been blogging steadily since September of last year, and we were a part of Kingston University’s BTS conference a few weeks ago - but publishing our first issue feels like you’re seeing us for the first time all over again.
Every article or blog we publish is important to us; we take our work seriously and want to produce the best quality content we possibly can for ARMY and for BTS. In a way, though this issue is the first step down what will hopefully be a long and happy road, it seems like the culmination of our efforts for the past five months. It is the end of a long period of preparation but the beginning of a new phase of our journey.
For those of you new to Borasaek Vision and our work, welcome aboard. For those of you who have been here since the beginning - thank you for sticking with us. We’re happy to have all of you, be it new ARMYs or veterans or from the general public. If you are here, that means that you are interested in what we have to say and, hopefully, ready to take this next step with us.
