Hello ARMY!

In our last blog, we talked about "giving back" and how important this concept is for both BTS and ARMY.

With Christmas approaching fast, it’s important to think about the spirit of the season in all its facets. The holiday season is traditionally viewed as the season of giving, and we at Borasaek Vision thought that now would be an excellent time to suggest 5 opportunities to give back. Here are some projects we found interesting among the many good causes you can easily find out there!

1. We Purple Earth #TreesForJin

First, we’d like to direct the spotlight to One In An ARMY and their project for this month. OIAA is a well-known account in our fandom, offering projects monthly for ARMY to experience the gift of giving back. These thoughtful projects are centered around BTS' online community and, in the boys’ birth months, are tuned to specifically to them. For December’s project, they are focusing not on the people of Earth, but on the earth itself. With the #TreesForJin project, they are raising money to plant trees in Jin’s honor. Trying, with everyone's help, to cure at least a little of our planet. One planted tree at a time!

2. Toys For Tots

The US Marines demonstrate that it is important to not only be brave but to be extremely kind as well. Toys For Tots, as the name suggests, is a donation project aimed at raising and distributing gifts to children who wouldn't be able to receive any Christmas presents otherwise. A beautiful way to give back! This organization hosts this project every year during the Christmas season and is a well-known and long-standing campaign in the US.

You can donate here or by personally delivering a toy or a book to one of the collection boxes near your area! Some stores also support Toys for Tots by sponsoring “buy one, donate one” style donations to their collection boxes while you’re doing your holiday shopping!

3. Care Home Christmas Project

Since we talked about a way to help the children, why not also help our elders? Let's show support to an ARMY account with a project meant to deliver presents to the elderly who might otherwise be spending the holidays in a less joyful way.

4. Random Acts

How could we not include this charity service we discovered when it shares the name we chose for this blog?

Random Acts' mission is to conquer the world one act of random kindness at a time, spreading positivity and with different charity projects.

We at BV can't help but appreciate how close the mission of this group of people is to our own.

Lastly, here's a little holiday secret: a way to give back that is virtually effortless!

The best part? There’s no additional charge! It's a great way to make your Christmas shopping count just that much more!
