10 Things BTS Has Done in Chapter 2

When BTS announced Chapter 2 during the Festa Dinner Party, many assumed ARMY would have more free time on their hands. However, there have been so many activities and events that you might struggle to remember them all.

Missed anything? We’ve got you! Let’s take a look at 10 things BTS has done in Chapter 2.

  1. Given Outstanding Performances

Who could forget Lollapalooza, or should we say Hobipalooza? J-hope performed his debut album in front of a massive crowd that sang his songs back at him. We even got a “Chicken Noodle Soup” performance with Becky G. The “Yet To Come” concert in Busan gave us the “Run BTS” performance we dreamed of. And there was a magical night in Argentina when Jin performed “The Astronaut” alongside Coldplay at their beautiful concert.

2. Released New Solo Music

Chapter 2 is all about individual activities taking the front seat, and it has been a joy so far. J-hope delivered a surprising debut album, Jack In The Box, which showed many new sides of him. And more recently we had Jin’s single “The Astronaut,” which pulled at our heartstrings with its sweet message and lovely vocals. But, who’s next?

3. Teased Upcoming Projects

BTS’s timing is perfect. RM’s album was teased many times before, like in this interview with Pharrell when he said it was 90% done. But, just a few days ago, it was finally announced that Indigo will be coming out in December. Meanwhile, Jimin posted photos with collaborators, not too long ago. Duane Benjamin mentioned a single on a now-deleted Instagram post. Of course, all the members have teased us about new music, so keep your eyes peeled for more!

4. Had A Myriad of Fun Collabs

Don’t think we forgot the collabs. BTS are some of the most sought-after artists, so, there are a lot of new songs to mention here. Jungkook featured in Charlie Puth’s “Left and Right,” and the vocal line appeared in Benny Blanco’s “Bad Decisions” alongside Snoop Dogg. Anderson Paak played the drums on this “Yet To Come” live performance, RM featured on Balming Tiger’s “Sexy Nukim,” and j-hope on Crush’s “Rush Hour.” Last but absolutely not least, Jin and Coldplay got together again for “The Astronaut.

5. Attended All Sorts Of Events

You thought keeping up with BTS was difficult? Try following the public activities of 7 members, all around the world. We went from V looking exceedingly stylish while attending Celine’s Fashion Show in Paris, to Suga having fun at the NBA Japan Games, chatting, and taking pictures with the players as well as meeting Naomi Osaka. He wasn’t the only one attending sports events. Jin showed up at the Korea Open Tennis Tournament, where of course he caught everyone’s attention too.

6. RM Became Renowned In The Art World

Do you follow art news? You might’ve seen RM’s name a lot recently. Not only did he visit important museums and exhibitions, but he also participated in art podcasts, and got interviewed to discuss his appreciation of art and the influence it has on him. But it doesn’t end there. He was included in Apollo’s 40 under 40 list of inspirational artists and creative innovators and made an important donation to promote and preserve Korean cultural heritage.

7. Gave Interviews, Appeared on Radio, YouTube, and TV

BTS is everywhere and doing a bit of everything. For the release of Jack in The Box, j-hope had an interview and a delightful performance with IU, while V appeared as a special DJ on MBC Radio where he had a great time and learned a lot. The release of “The Astronaut,” gave us so much content. We got GQ’s 10 things Jin can’t live without, Halmyungsoo, Running Man, and Nothing Much Prepared, all showing his incredible charm. Is there more to come?

8. Released a Game & Collaborated With A Game

A while ago we got a few videos showing BTS planning and choosing a title for an upcoming game. On June 28th, In The Seom was finally released, an adorable mobile game where the members are trapped on an island—It’s quite fun to play. Then Jin collaborated with his beloved MapleStory. He became a Nexon employee for a day and gave a cool presentation with his ideas to improve the game.

9. Released Gorgeous Photo-Folios

Here’s something for the ARMY collectors. They are releasing a series of photo folios showcasing each of the members, as well as a group version. So far, they’re being released in their birthdays order, starting with Jungkook and RM, then Jimin, and more recently the group version. They have all been announced with stunning teasers and concept films, so make sure to check them out while waiting for the next one!

10. Got Friendship Tattoos

A few times in the past, BTS mentioned the idea of getting friendship tattoos, and in 2022, it finally happened. They all got matching 7 tattoos, an endearing way to commemorate this moment, as well as their appreciation for each other and what they’ve built together. Most of the members have shown us pictures, although we still haven’t seen Suga’s. One day we shall see it—maybe.

The Best Is Yet To Come

As you can see, Chapter 2 has been packed, and BTS has been very busy, so much so that we couldn’t include every single thing here. But the future remains bright and hopeful for BTS and ARMY, and we can’t wait for what’ll come next!
