ARMY’s Golden Closet: Brain’s Supper

There is a saying that books are windows of knowledge. Books contain vast stores of useful information. If you are diligent in reading, you will of course have extensive knowledge that you will find very useful in your life.

And we all know, BTS and books are hard to separate. Whenever they are not too busy, they frequently make time to read a book. We, ARMY, are no longer surprised by their habit of reading, and it makes us, in turn, more interested in reading books, doesn’t it? In fact, some of the books they’ve read are immediately sold out when they, whether intentionally or not, reveal the title of the book they had been reading.

Of the many ARMY across the world, of course it's not just a select few people who enjoy books. From the sheer scale of the sales connected to BTS, there must be a lot of ARMY who like to read. Therefore, there are several accounts specifically for this demographic. For those of us who are looking for account references, I gathered some accounts that might be able to help you in finding book recommendations or quotes from books read by BTS, or maybe just book recommendations from other ARMYs.

I know you can't wait to see what accounts are mentioned in here. Okay, let’s get started!

The Magic Book Shop

The Magic Book Shop is one of the many book lovers’ clubs owned by ARMY. This club was formed by book lovers and is aimed at book lovers. Inspired by BTS, they finally created this club and have a place to talk on Discord. The discussions revolve around book recommendations from BTS. You can check it out on Twitter @magicbookshop7.

To learn more, visit their website’s general information page: magicbookshop.notion. There, you can see which platforms they are on, what their goals are, what their club is like and more. They welcome those who want to join, just DM them on Twitter and you will be given access to join their Discord channel; then you will have many friends who could give you book recommendations.

BTS & Books

BTS & Books is a fan account devoted to book lovers. This account shares books, articles, poems, and so much more that are not necessarily mentioned by BTS. The owner of the account is also known to be very fond of reading books. She also likes to share song lyrics through her Twitter account @magicshopbooks:

She also made a list of recommendations that you can check out at this MagicShopBooks link. You will find lots of book recommendations, including some books that have been read by BTS. You will also find posts on some of the books she has read such as: "One Day" by David Nicholls, "How to Be Good" by Nick Hornby, "BTS and ARMY Culture" by Lee Jeeheng, and many more. I suggest you open the recommendation link immediately, maybe you will find a book that will interest you.

Namjoon’s Library

This is a fan account dedicated to our best leader, Kim Namjoon. We certainly won't be surprised anymore by his bookish tendencies. Well, this account is about recommended books that Namjoon has read and also tells when and where Namjoon has mentioned the titles of those books.

For example, they once said that in 2015 for an interview with Japanese magazine “Haru Hana,” Namjoon recommended a book titled “Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes. This account also created a Carrd to make it easier for you to find books recommended by Namjoon. Check them out at joonieslibrary.carrd.co link.

BTS Book Club

This is a book club created by ARMYs, for ARMYs once again. They are inspired by BTS and decided to form this club in 2018. They hold monthly book discussions for ARMYs who join them. They open discussion on books that BTS recommend and for general book categories. They also create links that contain books they have read or discussed since the club was formed.

They have a place to chat on Discord where they also hold book discussions which have become a routine monthly habit. For other general info, you can visit their Carrd. Here I give you the link btsbookclub.carrd.co. And for additional info, you can check their Twitter @BTSBookClub_Twt.
