BTS and meals are two things that cannot be separated, no matter what. Almost every time we see them in content there will be food in it. Most of the time, the chefs in the group are the two oldest members, Jin and SUGA. With their magic hands, every ingredient can come together to make delicious meals, and the other members will never question the taste of it.
If you ever want to recreate or try this at home, make sure you grab your notepad and pen, and write down the ingredients and steps from https://twitter.com/BTSARMYKitchen. This account is dedicated to posting every kind of food or drink that BTS have made by themselves or that were given to them. You can also find another menu inspired by BTS songs or even by the members to celebrate their birthdays.
So, grab a drink and write down all the menus that BTS members have ever made before!
In BTS In The SOOP season 1, episode 8, we can see that RM made Aglio E Olio for the members before they finally went back to their routine as idols. He also proudly posted on Weverse and said that he made the pasta twice on that day. BTSARMYKitchen already posted on their Twitter about the recipe so you can make this delicious dish at home too.
No matter how far they are from their home country of South Korea, BTS never fail to bring the taste of their favorite dishes to wherever they are. In Bon Voyage Season 1 episode 3, Jin cooked Gochujang Jjigae (고추장찌개). The food is suitable if you love spicy food and is especially inviting in the colder seasons. Check out the ingredients below and good luck with trying this at home!
SUGA is the other main chef in BTS besides Jin, so it is not surprising that he made a lot of food for the members whenever they were on a trip and the group had to cook for themselves. During Bon Voyage Season 4 in New Zealand, in episode 5, he made Dakbokkeumtang (닭볶음탕) or Dakdoritang (닭도리탕). The meal is basically a spicy braised chicken, and he also grilled Samgyupsal (삼겹살) to complete the night. Do not forget to check the ingredients, and it is definitely a must-try at home!
Samgyupsal (삼겹살) Recipe:
While the other members previously made main course dishes, J-Hope made his own “Hope Toast” in his vlog during BTS’ first vacation and also in Bon Voyage Season 4, episode 3. He made that lovely toast for his other members as well - Yoongi and Jimin, who just got back from their long walk to get the iceberg. All you need is a piece of toast, then layer the top of it with butter, followed by jam such as blueberry, or J-Hope’s favorite strawberry jam, and the last layer to add is scrambled egg. To add the saltiness of the flavor, do not forget to put crispy bacon if you have any to make the flavor rich, then wrap them into triangle shape, and it is ready for you to eat.
Run BTS! has a lot of concepts and each episode has its own unique points and challenges. In episode 125, the theme was the guys cooking in order to support the pig farmers in South Korea. Jimin made Baked Ham. The main ingredient is only ham, or you can change it into something like turkey, chicken, or even vegan spam so you do not need to be worried if you cannot eat pork. There is always another option to recreate this lovely meal. You need to cut the main ingredient into thin square slices, then fry them for about 10 mins and put an egg aside just like the picture below.
BTS In The SOOP is basically content that is filled with BTS and their love towards food. They will make everything they have in mind instantly and eat them with the other members. V made nurungji (누룽지) in Season 1, Episode 4 with some leftover rice they had in the rice cooker, and everyone loved it because V made it with so much love inside.
Last but not least is Jungkook, who tried to make Fluffy Egg Bread or Cloud Bread in BTS In The SOOP Season 1, episode 3. In this episode, we can see that he tried so hard to whisk the egg whites by hand so that he could pour it into his bread and make the food that he wanted. In the end though, he settled for French toast, which he happily shared with the other members. Don’t let that deter you though. You can still try to make Cloud Bread for yourself by following the steps below!
